HONCHOW LUEY September, 1947 - April 3, 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband and father at the Victoria Hospital on April 3, 2006. He will be missed by his loving wife Elsa Meneses; daughters, Benita (Daniel) and Maggie. He is also survived by his sisters, Shu Ken, Hang Ku, Han Fong and Joyce. Luey was a fun-loving, good-humored and soft-natured man both at home and at Radisson Hotel where he bartended for 33 years. Our heartfelt thanks to family and friends who took the time to give us their support and comfort. Thank you to the staff at Health Sciences Centre and Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with cremation to follow (according to Luey's wishes). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 7 at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow. Both services will be held at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 701 Regent Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Luey's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
